A Gross Post

It is only a matter of time before one gets pooped on when you have a baby. Last night was our night, at 3 in the morning. I'm not talking blowout, I'm talking about mid diaper change a stream of baby poop spraying all over my shirt. Thankfully Kev woke up from my gasp and helped clean everything up so we could all go back to bed (seriously thanks Kev). One may not have a preferred time to be pooped on, but mine would be during the day.

This is what happens when I finish feeding baby and ask Kev to put her "away"
Which is not too far off from where she actually sleeps....the closet.

Matching Sisters

Ry and Sophie have one set of matching outfits (thanks Aunt Ruth!), so today for church they were matchy matchy.

Don't mind the booger in this picture. And I thought getting a decent pic. of just Ry was hard.

Blessing Day

Although this pic. is not of Sophie's baby blessing day, it is pretty cute. She slept through her bath only to awaken and scream the moment we took her out. The best part of baths is afterwards when her hair dries and becomes the softest little fro (As seen in her blessing pics).

We decided to bless Sophie today because it was the only time we would have any family in town (my mom and little bro). We really wish Grandpa and Grandma Mc. could have been there, but we will see you soon!

We decided on a name. Sophie Marie. Things are still going great. Rylee loves being a big sister.

Baby Girl!!!

Just a quick post to let everyone know that our new baby arrived and to post some pictures. She was 8 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. She was born at 12:58 am this morning, Aug 22nd. We haven't decided on a name yet. Both Stef and the baby are doing great.

Still Alive....No Baby

My desire to blog has been about at the same level as my desire to still be pregnant, hence no entry for over a month. Our count down to baby's due date is over, and now we'll see how stubborn she'll be and how far over we can go! It's not that bad, I actually feel good still and am not overly anxious to go through the whole birthing process again...we'll just leave it there. So here are some highlights from the last little bit:

Took some cute pics of Ry with my friend's nice camera

Ry riding her bike from G'ma Lou

Just thought this was pretty adorable

Found this really cute park with a train...

that Ry was a little apprehensive about...

a stream running through it...

and we had some great laying out on the grass time.
