Boy or Girl?

So people have asked me if I have any inklings...any feeling on what we're having. Just like the first time, I have no idea. I don't think of the baby as a "boy baby" or "girl baby", although Kev always says "him and he" (he did this last time too and was brought back into reality when the ultrasound tech. said "I think it's a boy...wait a minute...no, no it's a girl")

As far as us having a preference, I would love another girl for financial reasons...we already have girl stuff (pretty ridiculous, I know. Bring on the boys once we graduate from school). Of course it would be awesome to have a little boy, he will just have to wear girl clothes.

Anyways, the purpose of this post is to see if anyone else may have premonitions as to what we're having. Go ahead...guess away. And to those who think they have a real gift at this, you can add us to your record of successes or failures.

Hmmm....I must have missed the post about you guys expecting, or I'm just losing track of everyone who is. Congratulations! It seems like everyone is having babies again:) I'm guessing a boy, since it seems like everybody is having a boy.

Hi Stef,

I am excited that you are pregs. It sounds like we are expecting at the exact same time. Did you know when you were here for the superbowl and I was going on about my pregnancy? If you did I don't blame you for not saying anything. I would not have told people if there was any way of hiding my sickness. As far as showing, I started showing REALLY early this time and have already gained 8 lbs. I hope it slows down. Anyway, your ultrasound should be coming up soon right? Keep us posted and I will let you know when we find out if ours is a boy or girl. This is last chance for a boy for us. Even if yours is a girl she will be off seasons with Riley so you will have to buy all new clothes anyway.

Stefanie, has a point about the clothes being off season, bummer looks like you will just have to go shopping! Kaylee has been saying that Rylee is going to have a sister. we will see if she is right. I am going to guess boy just for the heck of it. Also all of the McMinns have gone boy/girl or girl/boy with the first two kids in each family. You don't want to buck the trend do you?

I'm going to say girl. Atleast I hope you get a girl. I thought I wanted a boy but I'm so glad Lily has a sister close to her age. And my girls are off season too but you would be surprised at all the stuff you can still use. Congrats again. When do you find out?

Sorry - but I am voting boy. Just because things like that never seem to work out financially. We were kind of hoping Bryant was a girl because we had all girl stuff too. Thank heaven for families and Good Will!! Maybe the boys in dresses outfit thing will come back in style just for you J/K!! Good luck!! How are you feeling?

I vote for boy just because I want to see what a little Kev+Stef boy looks like. If he's anywhere near as cute as Rylee, he'll be adorable! I can't wait!

I am embarassed to say why I hope you have a boy! I already have a boy baby quilt made!! If you do have a girl, that will give me something to work on in the evenings while we are serving in Nauvoo!
Actually, a healthy little baby is all we hope for.

I always thought we could tell if the pregnancy (ie. type of morning sickness) was the same as the last time then the sex was the same. Annette had more morning sickness with the girl than with the boys. That is the way a guy remembers it. Anxious to hear what the ulta sound person says. Glenn

My guess is girl!! Just because that is the way things work at our house and it seems like we know sooooo many families that have the same of one or the other. Either way it is an adventure. Good luck!
